U.S. Global Investors partners with Keystone School to support Model UN program

U.S. Global Investors (NASDAQ:GROW) has announced a partnership with Keystone School, a private college preparatory institution, to support the school’s Model United Nations (Model UN) program.

The partnership begins with a $10,000 donation and includes a commitment of $50,000 over multiple years.

Funding from the grant will be used to expand access to the Model UN program, including providing resources for underrepresented students, hosting guest speakers in international affairs, and enabling participation in regional and national competitions.

Keystone’s Model UN program has received awards at local and state-level conferences in San Antonio and Austin.

Last year, a delegation of students attended the national Model UN conference at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.

Currently, more than one-third of Keystone’s Upper School students participate in the program.

Frank Holmes, US Global Investors CEO and chief investment officer, described the contribution as the beginning of a long-term partnership aimed at preparing students for engagement in a global economy.

“We’re planting the seeds today for tomorrow’s US diplomats, policymakers and changemakers,” Holmes said. “By supporting Model UN at Keystone, we’re equipping students with the tools to navigate complex global challenges and rebuild confidence in free markets as engines of innovation and growth.”

Billy Handmaker, head of Keystone School, thanks US Global Investors for its support.

“Their investment in our Model UN program helps our students explore international relations, trade and conflict resolution while learning how to collaborate in an increasingly interconnected world,” Handmaker said.
