Silver Range Resources Ltd (TSX-V:SNG, OTC:SLRRF) announced that its partner, Walker Lane Resources, has commenced an airborne geophysical survey at the Tule Canyon Property in Esmeralda County, Nevada.
Walker Lane holds an option to acquire a 100% interest in the property.
The survey is being conducted by Precision Geosurveys, with operations based in Reno, Nevada, and Langley, British Columbia.
It will cover a total of 212 line-kilometres, flown along lines spaced 100 metres apart at an altitude of 30 metres above ground level.
The survey is scheduled to begin after Precision completes ongoing work in West Central Nevada and California.
According to Silver Range, the Tule Canyon Property lies over a deflection in the regional magnetic field associated with the underlying Sylvania Pluton, a feature known to host high-grade gold and silver mineralization in the district.
The survey aims to map this magnetic deflection in detail and identify secondary anomalies that may indicate structurally controlled precious metal deposits.
