Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSX-V:GMG, OTCQX:GMGMF) announced that Beijer Ref, one of the largest global refrigeration and HVAC wholesalers headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, has agreed to distribute GMG’s THERMAL-XR ENHANCE heat transfer coating through its Australian Beijer Ref and Kirby wholesale network.
Under the agreement, the proprietary coating will be offered as an optional solution on Beijer Ref and Kirby branded refrigeration evaporator coils, including the Beijer Patton and Kirby Guardian product lines.
The offering will be available across approximately 73 Beijer Ref and Kirby wholesale locations in Australia in November.
Customers who choose to have the optional coating applied to their refrigeration evaporator coils will contract directly with Beijer Ref.
Beijer Ref will then enter into a bilateral agreement with GMG, subject to GMG’s standard terms and conditions.
GMG plans to utilize a network of trained and approved HVAC contractors to apply its THERMAL-XR ENHANCE coating on refrigeration and air-conditioning coils for this rollout, beginning in the capital cities of mainland Australia.
Each participating contractor will undergo GMG certification through the GMG Spray Academy, where they will be trained in the coating’s three-stage process: surface cleaning and preparation, graphene-based coating application, and post-application inspection and maintenance verification.
The certification program is designed to ensure consistent quality, adherence to safety protocols, and correct use of GMG’s proprietary application methods.
THERMAL-XR ENHANCE is designed to improve heat transfer efficiency and provide corrosion protection for HVAC-R equipment.
The product is part of GMG’s line of graphene-enhanced coatings aimed at reducing energy consumption and extending equipment life in commercial and industrial cooling systems.
GMG said the partnership represents a step forward in its commercialization strategy, expanding access to its coating technology through Beijer Ref’s established national distribution network serving the refrigeration and air-conditioning market in Australia.

Shares of GMG jumped at Wednesday's open in both Canada and the US, up 14.3% and 15.4% respectively.
