Firefly Metals managing director Steve Parsons talked with Proactive about what he described as a major exploration breakthrough at the Green Bay copper-gold project in Canada.
Parsons said the company had confirmed a high-grade core zone within the project, which is 30–50 metres wide and extends for over 800 metres in strike length. He explained that it remains open, noting, “This is copper with gold credits... pretty impressive.”
Firefly reported significant intersections including 43 metres at 7.6% copper, with a zone of nearly 15 metres grading 16% copper equivalent.
Looking ahead, Parsons said the company is focused on completing further infill drilling to upgrade the resource. The updated Mineral Resource Assessment is expected later this quarter, ahead of a planned scoping study due at the end of Q1 2026.
