Live Nation price target lowered ahead of Q3 earnings

Analysts at Deutsche Bank have slightly reduced their price target for Live Nation Entertainment Inc (NYSE:LYV) ahead of the company's third quarter earnings report, pointing to ongoing growth expectations alongside potential regulatory overhangs.

The investment bank now has a price target of $173 per share, down from a previous target of $175, while maintaining a ‘Buy’ rating on the stock.

Shares of Live Nation traded hands at $153 on Thursday, up almost 19% so far in 2025.

Deutsche Bank highlighted that its revised price target reflects an 18x multiple on the company’s 2026 adjusted operating income, compared with the stock’s current trading multiple of 16.5x on 2026 estimates.

“We expect Live Nation will continue to deliver double-digit growth and increasing profitability in the coming years, based on: strong demand for live events and experiences globally, a growing pipeline of artists touring, and increasing exposure to more profitable owned and operated venues,” the analysts wrote in a note.

The analysts also addressed potential regulatory risks stemming from the Federal Trade Commission’s recent complaint against Live Nation.

“The bottom line; we believe the company has a strong legal defense, but until we get greater clarity this situation could represent an overhang for the stock,” they wrote.
