NEXE Innovations Inc (TSX-V:NEXE, OTC:NEXNF) said it delivered more than 80,000 compostable coffee pods across three new product lines to a leading North American office coffee services (OCS) distributor.
The new SKUs expand NEXE’s lineup of BPI-certified compostable pods as the company looks to capture growing demand from customers seeking sustainable alternatives to conventional plastic single-use pods.
The distributor plans to transition additional coffee brands to NEXE’s compostable format, according to a statement from the company.
NEXE noted it has seen increasing order volumes from existing partners and a rise in inquiries from coffee roasters and distributors exploring compostable packaging solutions. Its proprietary pod technology and in-house production capabilities allow customers to scale up sustainable offerings, it added.
