ImmuPharma rallies as partnership talks progress and end-of-year deal target reaffirmed

Investors in ImmuPharma PLC (AIM:IMM) have something to smile about. The shares shot up 23% to 13.39p after the specialist biotech confirmed it remains on track to secure a partnership deal for its flagship autoimmune platform by the end of the year, news that helped reinforce optimism around the AIM-listed stock.

The update came alongside the launch of a revamped corporate website, which places ImmuPharma’s proprietary P140 peptide platform firmly at the centre of its future strategy.

P140 is designed to “retrain” rather than suppress the immune system, offering a new therapeutic category that the company describes as an immunormalizer.

The treatment aims to restore balance in autoimmune diseases such as lupus, potentially providing durable remission instead of simply managing symptoms.

The company said a comprehensive data room is now open to several potential partners, each granted access to recent data and clinical findings under confidentiality agreements.

Talks are ongoing, and ImmuPharma reaffirmed its goal of finalising a partnership before the end of 2025.

Financially, the company’s cash runway has been extended into the second half of 2026, thanks to warrant exercises and higher receipts from its Lanstead Capital funding agreement, which settles in November.

Management stressed it has no plans to raise further funds, expecting that any future partnership deal will bolster its balance sheet, which will provide a further boon to shareholders.

Chief executive Tim McCarthy said the P140 platform “represents a paradigm shift” in autoimmune treatment and reiterated that ImmuPharma’s mission is “to pave the way to a cure, where most existing approaches focus only on relieving symptoms.”

The upbeat tone and confirmation of solid funding appear to have rekindled market enthusiasm, with traders viewing today’s update as a tangible step toward long-promised commercial traction.

If the company can deliver a deal by year-end, 2025 will mark the turning point ImmuPharma investors have been waiting for.
