International Graphite had a stellar day on news it's moving ahead with plans for Australia’s first commercial graphite micronising plant in Collie, WA.

Alcoa plunged on its quarterly update. The company posted a 3% lift in revenue to three billion U.S. dollars but swung to an adjusted net loss of six million, down from a $135 million profit a year earlier.
Super Retail Group was also down on its trading update. It reported a 4.5% rise in sales for the first 16 weeks of FY26 with stable margins — but the market expected a stronger start to the year.
