Greatland Gold made a great start to its latest drill campaign

Greatland Resources Ltd (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF, ASX:GGP), in its September quarter drilling update, told investors it had drilled 53,543 metres during the three months across its Telfer gold-copper operation in Western Australia.

The work included 711 holes across the West Dome Open Pit, West Dome Underground and Main Dome Underground areas.

The company remains on track to complete its 240,000-metre drilling target for FY26.

Drilling exceeded planned metres, prompting early completion of Stage 7 extension drilling and a shift to Stage 2 work. A third reverse circulation rig and a fifth underground diamond rig are supporting the expanded program.

"The September quarter was a great start to our record 240,000m annual drilling program at Telfer, with the results to date further supporting the potential for multi-year Telfer life of mine extension from both open pit and underground opportunities," said managing director Shaun Day.
