Titan Minerals delivers wide, high-grade gold and silver hits ahead of Dynasty resource update

Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM, OTC:TTTNF) has reported another round of strong drill results from its 100%-owned Dynasty Gold Project in southern Ecuador, with wide, high-grade gold-silver intercepts from multiple zones at the Cerro Verde prospect confirming significant potential to grow resources in the company’s next mineral resource estimate (MRE).

The results come as Titan advances an 8,000-metre resource-definition drilling program designed to expand the existing 3.1-million-ounce (Moz) gold and 22Moz silver resource base. The company expects to release the updated MRE in early Q1 2026.

Wide, high-grade zones at Brecha-Comanche

At the Brecha-Comanche target, drilling continues to reveal broad mineralised intervals that extend well beyond previous resource boundaries.

Hole CVDD25-143 returned several standout intercepts, including:

  • 7.2 metres @ 2.8 g/t gold and 5.2 g/t silver from 134.1 metres;
  • 6.1 metres @ 7.1 g/t gold and 88 g/t silver from 255.9 metres; and
  • 16.2 metres @ 2.2 g/t gold and 8.5 g/t silver from 330.7 metres, within a broader 64-metre zone @ 0.9 g/t gold and 3.5 g/t silver.

Titan said these results extend previously reported mineralisation by about 40 metres and demonstrate the continuity of gold-silver systems down to roughly 600 metres’ depth.

Infill hole CVDD25-142 also intersected 2.1 metres @ 21.3 g/t gold near surface, confirming shallow high-grade potential.

Porphyry potential grows at Kaliman

Drilling at the nearby Kaliman porphyry target returned a 153-metre interval @ 0.5 g/t gold and 1.9 g/t silver from 61 metres’ depth, including 14.6 metres @ 2.7 g/t gold and 11.2 g/t silver from 114.4 metres.

Cerro Verde cross section C-C’ looking northwest (100m window) showing significant drill intercepts, drill traces Au g/t, gold gram metre isosurfaces and conceptual pit optimisation (US$3,000/oz).

Additional results from deeper drilling identified multiple zones of vein- and porphyry-hosted mineralisation, highlighted by 21.4 metres @ 0.8 g/t gold and 4.7 g/t silver from 298.6 metres and 70.4 metres @ 0.3 g/t gold and 0.7 g/t silver from 778 metres.

The company said mineralisation at Kaliman begins near surface and could support low-strip-ratio, bulk-mining options, complementing Dynasty’s established epithermal vein systems.

Bulk zones emerging as key value driver

Titan chief executive Melanie Leighton said the latest six months of drilling had reshaped the company’s understanding of the Dynasty system.

“We now know that there is an opportunity to capture large zones of bulk (disseminated and stockwork-hosted) mineralisation in diorite porphyry units, as opposed to the typical narrow vein-hosted mineralisation,” Leighton said.

“The addition of bulk gold mineralisation will complement the high-grade vein and shear-hosted mineralisation and will most likely improve strip ratios and overall economics for the Dynasty Gold Project.”

Leighton added that with gold trading around US$4,300 per ounce and silver near US$53 per ounce, the project sits in a “very different pricing environment” from when Titan released its July 2023 resource estimate.

Resource growth and de-risking underway

Titan expects to complete about 6,000 metres of additional drilling before finalising the new MRE. Independent consultant Entech Mining has completed site visits and model reviews, while Knight Piésold has delivered preliminary tailings and waste-dump studies confirming several viable options within Titan’s tenure.

Metallurgical test work has achieved high overall gold recoveries of 85–88% for oxide ore and 91% for fresh sulphide ore using conventional processing routes, providing scope for further optimisation. Environmental baseline studies are continuing to support future large-scale mining permit applications.

Strong funding and partnership momentum

The company is fully funded to complete the current work program after receiving US$10 million from China’s Lingbao Gold Group, which acquired a 9.9% strategic stake in Titan earlier this month. The investment includes a 90-day exclusivity period to evaluate a potential project-level partnership at Dynasty.

Leighton said Titan remains focused on delivering de-risking studies, mine design work and ongoing drilling as it moves towards development decisions.

About the Dynasty Project

Dynasty covers 139 square kilometres across five contiguous concessions in southern Ecuador’s Loja Province. The project hosts extensive epithermal veining over a 9-kilometre strike, along with porphyry-style mineralisation at several prospects including Kaliman, Cola and Gisell.

With more than 25,000 metres of new diamond drilling completed since mid-2023, Titan aims to build substantially on its current 3.1Moz gold and 22Moz silver inventory as it positions Dynasty for potential near-term development.
