The Small Cap Wrap: ASX hits 100-day high as HUB24 and Mesoblast lead gains; XSO also advances

The S&P/ASX 200 climbed 62.80 points (+0.70%) to finish at 9,094.70, marking a new 100-day high as investor confidence lifted across major sectors. The benchmark index has risen 2.19% over the past five sessions and now sits just 0.22% below its 52-week peak.

Top performers included:

HUB24 Limited (ASX: HUB) — up 10.63%, driven by optimism around platform growth and strong funds under administration.

Mesoblast Limited (ASX: MSB) — up 9.40%, extending gains following positive developments in its cell therapy programs.

The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index (ASX: XSO) also advanced, gaining 33.80 points (+0.89%) to close at 3,823.50. Despite today’s rise, the Small Ords remain down 1.27% over the past five days, reflecting ongoing volatility in smaller-cap stocks.
