Standard Uranium confirms high-grade uranium mineralization at surface on the Corvo project

Standard Uranium Ltd (TSX-V:STND, OTCQB:STTDF) announced final assay results from its 2025 exploration programs at the Corvo Uranium Project, currently under a three-year earn-in option agreement with Aventis Energy Inc.

The uranium exploration company said the results confirm high-grade uranium mineralization at surface across the project, including the historical Manhattan Showing with assay results returning uranium grades ranging from 0.72% to 8.10% uranium oxide in outcrop grab samples.

"Our geochemical assays returning the highest uranium grades ever reported on the project increases our confidence and excitement, as we were able to repeat historic results and identify new areas of mineralization at surface," Standard Uranium president Sean Hillacre said in a statement.

"We will continue to bolster our targeting strategy through the December ground gravity program leading into the first drill program on the project in more than 40 years."

Standard Uranium also noted that scintillometer prospecting uncovered previously undocumented radioactive occurrences across the project in favourable rock types for uranium and rare earth element (REE) mineralization.

The company added that an extensive ground gravity survey is scheduled for December 2025, designed to identify density anomalies potentially representing hydrothermal alteration systems coincident with newly refined electromagnetic conductor trends across the project.

As well, Standard Uranium said a diamond drill program is being planned for the first quarter of 2026 to begin testing targets developed and ranked through the successful programs executed in 2025.

The company believes Corvo is highly prospective for the discovery of shallow, high-grade basement-hosted uranium mineralization akin to the Rabbit Lake deposit and the recently discovered Gemini Mineralized Zone.
