The S&P/ASX 200 finished higher on Monday, up 36.6 points, or 0.41%, to 9,031.90. Lynas Rare Earths led the gains with a 6.6% rise, followed by Generation Development Group, up 4.4%. The benchmark is up 0.82% over five sessions and sits 0.85% below its 52-week peak.
The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries (XSO) slipped 31.5 points to 3,789.70, down 0.82% on the day and 1.34% over the past five days.
