Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML, OTC:RLMLF) has strengthened its balance sheet and strategic partnerships with a $2 million placement exclusively to Tribeca Investment Partners, further reinforcing its position within the United States’ fast-emerging critical minerals supply chain.
The deal follows Resolution’s well-supported $25 million capital raising earlier this month, providing additional momentum as the company advances exploration at its Horse Heaven Project in Idaho and progresses its downstream processing strategy aimed at supplying critical minerals to the US Government.
Strategic investment by a key resource fund
Tribeca, a global fund manager with a strong focus on natural resources, subscribed for 25 million new shares at 8 cents apiece under Resolution’s existing placement capacity. Subject to shareholder approval, the fund will also receive 25 million options exercisable at 10 cents within three years.
Oakley Capital Partners Pty Ltd acted as lead manager and will receive a 6% fee on the funds raised.
Resolution said Tribeca’s exclusive commitment demonstrates confidence in Horse Heaven’s potential and in the company’s broader critical minerals strategy, particularly as the US Government intensifies efforts to secure domestic supply of key materials for defence and energy applications.
High-level government engagement
The placement comes amid growing geopolitical interest in Resolution’s US assets. As announced last week, the Australian Embassy in Washington — led by Ambassador Kevin Rudd — invited Resolution to brief Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on the Horse Heaven Project ahead of his meeting with US President Donald Trump, taking place later today (US time) at the White House.
Critical minerals and strategic cooperation are expected to feature prominently in those talks, marking a significant milestone for Resolution and highlighting Horse Heaven’s potential role in strengthening America’s supply resilience.
Antimony and tungsten were historically produced at Horse Heaven during both World Wars and the Korean War, underscoring the project’s strategic importance as a potential source of military-grade antimony.
About the Horse Heaven Project
Located near Cascade, Idaho, Horse Heaven covers 14,580 acres across 729 federal lode claims and hosts multiple past-producing antimony and tungsten mines. The project shares its eastern boundary with Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite Gold Project, one of the largest high-grade, low-cost gold operations under development in the US — and set to be the nation’s only domestic source of antimony once in production.
Horse Heaven Project location map, highlighting the location of the two current major antimony-gold-silver-tungsten targets, the Golden Gate Target (where Phase 1 drilling is currently under way) and the Antimony Ridge Target. Also highlighted is the fully permitted Stibnite Gold Project, which is only 6km east of Horse Heaven.
Resolution’s current drilling program at the Golden Gate and Antimony Ridge prospects aims to verify historical results and test for extensions along strike and at depth. The project also benefits from infrastructure upgrades linked to Stibnite’s development, including a new access road and transmission line.
Next steps
Resolution has completed its Phase 1 drilling campaign at Horse Heaven and expects assay results in the near term. A multi-program exploration effort — including stream sediment sampling, mapping, and rock-chip surveys — is also under way to refine future drill targets.
Meanwhile, studies are being advanced to support a new Plan of Operation enabling a significantly expanded exploration footprint.
The company will also update investors on progress towards downstream processing initiatives as part of its long-term goal to become a key US government-aligned supplier of critical minerals.
