Bank of America analysts raised their price objective on Advanced Micro Devices Inc (NASDAQ:AMD, ETR:AMD) to $300 per share from $250 following what they called “positive” company announcements at the 2025 Open Compute Project (OCP) Conference in California.
In a note to clients on Friday, the analysts wrote that they now see greater visibility into the deployment and ramp outlook of MI450 Series 'Helios' racks launching in the second half of 2026, supported by key industry customers such as Oracle, Meta, and OpenAI.
This has led the analysts to raise their sales estimates for calendar year 2026 by 4% to $1.4 billion and increase its 2027 estimate by 21% to $9.7 billion.
Bank of America analysts now see AMD grabbing a greater than 5% share of the estimated $287 billion to $430 billion artificial intelligence (AI) accelerator market, with the potential to increase that market share to 7.5%.
They added that the next major catalyst for the company could come at its Analyst Day in New York City on November 11.
AMD shares eased 0.7% to $232.91 in midday trading on Friday.
