Silver Range Resources kicks off fall exploration program at East Goldfield

Silver Range Resources Ltd (TSX-V:SNG, OTC:SLRRF) announced that it has started a fall exploration project at its East Goldfield property in Nye County, Nevada.

The company will conduct an airborne total magnetic field and radiometric survey over 269 line-kilometres of the property.

Lines will be spaced 50 metres apart and flown at 30 metres above ground level.

The survey is expected to assist in mapping the volcanic stratigraphy of the area.

Silver Range also completed a surface sampling program south of the central hydrothermal alteration zone, examining five targets.

The most notable target was a five-metre exposure of grey vuggy quartz containing disseminated pyrite located 380 metres east-northeast of the Tom Keane Mine shaft.

Assay results from this sampling are pending.

The company plans to follow up with small-diameter, shallow diamond drilling using man-portable drills, scheduled to begin in November.

East Goldfield is located 14 kilometres east of Goldfield, Nevada, and includes historical workings at the Tom Keane Mine, which consist of a 500-foot inclined shaft and 2,860 feet of underground drifts.
