Wishbone Gold PLC (AIM:WSBN, AQSE:WSBN) has provided an update on exploration activities at its Red Setter gold project in Western Australia, where diamond drilling on the second hole has been completed at 950 metres.
Core samples will now be dispatched to ALS Laboratories in Perth for assay, the company said.
“Diamond drilling is now on double shift, and with the Reverse Circulation drill rig arriving this weekend, we are ramping up activities to expedite exploration.”
He added that results from the first hole are expected soon," Wishbone director Ed Mead said.
Highlighting results, Wishbone noted that a 500-metre third hole will follow up a previous intercept of 7 metres grading 2 grams per tonne of gold and 0.38% copper from 273 metres.
A Reverse Circulation rig from Core Drilling Services is scheduled to mobilise this weekend and start drilling on 21 October."
In London, Wishbone Gold shares climbed just over 12% changing hands at 1.23p.
