archTIS wins DoD services work, paving way for larger NC Protect licensing deal

archTIS Ltd (ASX:AR9, OTCQB:ARHLF) has secured a services contract worth $250,000 with Copper River Technologies to develop new functionality for its NC Protect software on behalf of the US Department of Defense (DoD).

Under the engagement — procured and managed by Copper River, a US-based federal contract holder and reseller of archTIS products — the company will build features requested by the DoD to enable deeper integration with existing Defense classification systems and Microsoft tools, including within the Microsoft DoD365 environment. The work will be carried out in a highly classified setting.

archTIS said the scope targets “mission-specific requirements” necessary to support an enterprise-wide rollout of NC Protect.

“Securing this contract to support new features and deployment services into the US Department of Defense demonstrates clear customer validation and investment into NC Protect and its readiness in mission-critical environments," archTIS managing director & CEO Daniel Lai said. "This added milestone provides confidence as we accelerate our U.S. expansion off the back of the Spirion acquisition and reinforces archTIS’ ability to scale and deliver differentiated high-value data-centric security products and solutions. The US DOD has access to every technology in the world, and they are investing in archTIS; that’s a good sign.”

Maintaining momentum

While the immediate financial impact is modest, the company views the assignment as an operational bridge designed to maintain momentum between initial licence issuance and a broader enterprise award. The engagement is intended to accelerate product enhancements sought by the DoD and position the firm for multi-phase adoption that could scale from thousands to potentially hundreds of thousands of users over time.

The value of the services contract is A$250,000, with delivery due by January 16, 2026. Either party may terminate for cause or convenience with written notice.

NC Protect is the company’s data-centric security product aimed at controlling access to and use of sensitive information across Microsoft platforms and other repositories. The bespoke DoD features under the Copper River engagements are intended to align the product more closely with Defense classification workflows and Microsoft’s government cloud configurations, a prerequisite for enterprise deployment in highly regulated environments.
