Iofina sees record quarter of production

Iofina PLC (AIM:IOF, OTC:IOFNF) shares made gains on Thursday after telling investors it has achieved record quarterly production of 215.8 metric tonnes of crystalline iodine in Q3 2025, a 32% increase from the same period last year.

Output was driven by its eighth operational IOsorb plant, IO#11, which began production in July and lifted September volumes to 75 MT.

The company said iodine prices remained above $70 per kg and trending toward the mid-seventies, supported by strong global demand projected at 40,000 MT in 2025. Negotiations for the next plant, IO#12, are in their final stages with construction expected to begin by year-end.

“The company continues to execute its growth strategy as illustrated by the record month of September,” said Dr. Tom Becker, president and chief executive.

“With production steady across all plants, we are on track for 400–440 MT in the second half and further full-year growth.”

In London, Iofina shares climbed 4.6% changing hands at 24.06p.
