ANGLE PLC (AIM:AGL, OTCQX:ANPCY), the UK-based cancer diagnostics firm soon to be renamed CelLBxHealth, has appointed Peter Collins as interim chief executive and brought on Klaas de Boer as a senior board advisor.
The moves come as the company prepares for a strategic restructure and funding round in the final quarter of the year.
Collins, who will not join the board, brings more than 25 years of experience in oncology diagnostics and biopharma.
He has held senior leadership roles at firms including SAGA Diagnostics, Inivata, Guardant Health, and GSK.
ANGLE said his appointment was aimed at boosting commercial performance and driving growth across international healthcare markets.
Chairman Dr Jan Groen said: “Peter is an exceptional leader with a proven track record of commercial excellence, disciplined execution, and innovation.
"The board is delighted he has agreed to serve as interim CEO while we continue the process to make a permanent appointment.”
Alongside the CEO appointment, ANGLE has named Klaas de Boer as a senior advisor.
De Boer currently holds board positions with several public and private companies, and has a background in venture capital and strategy.
He began his career at McKinsey and went on to lead investment firms, including Baan Investment and Entrepreneurs Fund.
Groen added: “We are also delighted to have Klaas assisting the Board and management team during the coming period.”
