The S&P/ASX 200 finished higher on Thursday, up 0.86% (+77.50) at 9,068.40 to notch a new 100-day high. HUB24 Limited and AMP Limited led the index, rising 10.53% and 8.52%, respectively. Over five sessions the benchmark is up 1.10% and sits 0.45% below its 52-week peak.
The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries (XSO) also firmed, adding 0.14% (+5.40) to 3,874.10 today and 1.15% (+44.10) over the past five days.
