Canagold Resources Ltd (TSX:CCM, OTCQB:CRCUF) has appointed Collen Middleton as vice president of permitting and compliance to support its New Polaris project.
Middleton, a registered professional biologist with over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting and regulatory permitting across western Canada, will work alongside senior vice president of sustainability and permitting Chris Pharness.
The new vice president’s expertise covers metals and coal mining, major infrastructure, and energy projects, including pre-development permitting and consultation with Indigenous governments.
“I am very pleased to welcome Collen to the Canagold team,” CEO Catalin Kilofliski said. “He brings a strong track record in navigating complex regulatory processes and a deep commitment to responsible resource development.”
Canagold is focused on advancing the New Polaris project through feasibility, permitting, and production stages, while seeking to grow its portfolio through acquisitions of advanced projects.
The company recently reported positive antimony flotation results at New Polaris, a gold-antimony project, achieving high recoveries of 93.1% Sb and 91.8% gold, with significant antimony included in its resource and feasibility estimates.
Canagold is planning further metallurgical testing and economic analysis to assess potential antimony revenue.
