Shares in Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC (AIM:LST) rose 11% after the company extended a key distribution agreement and reported a sharp rise in its pipeline of overseas contracts.
The AIM-listed agricultural technology group said it had renewed its partnership with Gavita International, a major supplier of horticultural lighting, until the end of 2026.
The agreement supports sales of lighting systems for greenhouses and indoor farms and has lifted LSTH’s potential order book to more than £24 million, up from about £10 million when the deal was first announced in February.
The company’s AgTech arm, which develops environmental monitoring and control systems for both indoor and open-field farming, has also secured new work with global fruit producer Haygrove.
Its SensorGROW technology will be rolled out across five countries, including Australia and the United States, while its climate computers will be installed in a greenhouse project in Bhutan.
Chief executive Simon Deacon said the extended partnership and growing demand for sustainable food production had strengthened confidence in converting the group’s £45 million pipeline into confirmed contracts.
The stock rose 0.45p to 4.40p.
