Markets in a Minute: West Wits, St George shine, 29Metals sinks

The ASX200 had another fresh run, nudging upwards of 1 per cent - with every sector - except energy - finishing in the green.

Green

St George Mining (ASX:SGQ) was up on hitting strong rare earth and niobium grades from first drilling at its Araxá Project in Brazil — confirming thick, high-grade zones beyond its current resource.

West Wits Mining (ASX:WWI) jumped after confirming it's now produced its first underground ore at the Qala Shallows Gold Project in South Africa, officially moving from development to production.

Red

29Metals (ASX:29M) plunged on its quarterly — copper output was up slightly, but zinc production collapsed 84% due to restricted access caused by seismic activity.

DroneShield (ASX:DRO) also slipped despite launching its new DroneSentry-C2 Enterprise platform — designed to link multiple defense sites nationwide for faster decision-making and full operational control.
