Satsuma Technology PLC (LSE:SATS) shares climbed on Tuesday after it appointed Andrew Smith as chief financial officer, effective from 1 November.
Smith previously served as CFO of FTSE250-listed Playtech PLC between 2017 and 2022, overseeing corporate, finance and treasury functions.
Earlier in his career, Smith worked in investment banking at ABN AMRO and Deutsche Bank, specialising in fundraising and M&A for UK-listed companies. His professional background also includes legal experience and a secondment to the Financial Conduct Authority.
In London, Satsuma shares rose by 4.85% changing hands at 1.08p.
