Pantoro Gold Ltd managing director Paul Cmrlec talked with Proactive about new high-grade gold intersections at the Norseman Gold Project. Cmrlec confirmed that drilling at the historic Mainfield mining centre, specifically at the Bullen Decline, continues to return strong results. He noted the area has already produced around 3.00 million ounces of gold and remains open at depth, suggesting significant exploration potential remains.
“These are very large areas that have had development and remain unmined,” Cmrlec said. “We're drilling in some of those areas and demonstrating that they have very high gold grades, similar to what was mined throughout the rest of the area.”
Cmrlec also outlined the company’s ongoing drilling activities with three surface rigs operating across multiple targets, including the Bullen mine, Gladstone, Everlasting, Daisy, and Scotia. He highlighted the company’s new on-site laboratory, which is expected to ease assay bottlenecks and accelerate results processing.
Looking ahead, Pantoro expects a strong flow of assay results in the coming weeks, supporting continued exploration momentum and resource growth at Norseman.
