GenIP Plc (LSE:GNIP) has announced the launch of Invention Validator, a new product designed to assess user adoption readiness for emerging technologies.
A pilot project is underway with a South African research university evaluating an agricultural biotech innovation.
The offering expands on GenIP’s Invention Evaluator tool by adding structured user feedback and strategic recommendations. It is priced from over $12,000 and aims to support commercialisation decisions for new discoveries.
"This new product marks an important milestone in GenIP's evolution from delivering standalone reports to becoming an embedded partner in our clients' commercialisation decisions," said chief executive Melissa Cruz.
The service is positioned as high-margin and scalable. GenIP, meanwhile, highlighted early interest from three Chilean universities, with one reviewing a proposal.
In London, GenIP shares were down nearly 7% in Friday morning's trade, changing hands at 20.5p.
