Google launches new platform to compete in enterprise AI market

Google has unveiled a new AI platform, Gemini Enterprise, targeting the growing enterprise AI productivity tools market.

The company said the platform is designed to help businesses automate complex tasks and generate content, integrating a range of AI capabilities into a single interface for employees across departments.

Gemini Enterprise is priced at $30 per user per month.

The platform brings together Google’s existing technologies, allowing users to access corporate data, search for information, and deploy AI agents to complete tasks.

According to Google, it supports integration with popular enterprise software, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and SAP, while providing tools to monitor and audit AI agents for performance and accuracy.

Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian described Gemini Enterprise as a comprehensive AI platform that connects to organizational workflows, data, and employees.

“Delivering this level of transformation requires a complete, full-stack approach to innovation, and this is where Google leads,” Kurian wrote in a blog post, highlighting that the platform leverages Google’s infrastructure, DeepMind research, and the Gemini family of AI models.

Gemini Enterprise is positioned as a competitor to Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT)365 Copilot and OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise.

The enterprise AI market is increasingly competitive, with Microsoft investing in its own AI models and OpenAI diversifying its cloud partnerships by adding Google Cloud alongside Microsoft.
