Charbone Hydrogen Corporation (TSX-V:CH, OTCQB:CHHYF) announced that it has completed the dismantling of hydrogen production equipment in Quebec City and that the main components have now been delivered to its Sorel-Tracy site.
The company said the milestone represents a key step toward commissioning its first clean ultra high-purity (UHP) hydrogen production unit, which remains on track to begin operations in November 2025.
“We are proud to have completed this crucial logistical milestone on time,” Charbone CEO Dave Gagnon said in a statement.
“The transfer of this strategic equipment to our Sorel-Tracy site brings us closer to the first production of clean UHP hydrogen in Quebec, while optimizing our investments through the reuse of proven assets.”
Technical teams from Charbone and its partners carried out the dismantling and transport while maintaining the integrity of the equipment’s modules and systems.
Reintegration and connection work at Sorel-Tracy is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
The relocation follows a strategic transaction announced on September 5, 2025, through which Charbone acquired hydrogen production and refueling assets.
The company said the acquisition supports a faster market entry while reducing capital expenditures and leveraging proven operational equipment.
“Charbone’s vision of building a modular clean UHP hydrogen production network in North America is becoming more tangible and concrete every day,” Gagnon added.
