D3 Energy Ltd (ASX:D3E, OTCQB:DNRGF) has begun trading on the OTCQX Best Market in the United States, upgrading from the OTCQB Venture Market to access a larger pool of North American investors and potential liquidity.
The OTCQX platform caters to established, investor-focused companies that meet strict financial standards, corporate governance practices and ongoing disclosure requirements. D3 Energy said the move recognises its governance and financial standing and aligns with growth plans across its helium and natural gas portfolio.
“The upgrade to OTCQX is an important milestone for D3 Energy. We have already seen the benefits of being accessible to North American investors via OTCQB, which already accounts for a significant portion of the company’s aggregate global trading volume, and moving to the top tier further enhances our profile and credibility in this important market. We look forward to engaging with a broader pool of investors and the increased liquidity that OTCQX typically brings,” managing director David Casey said.
The OTCQX trading imposes no additional compliance or regulatory requirements beyond existing Australian Securities Exchange obligations and is non-dilutive, with no new shares issued.
D3 Energy’s portfolio includes the ER315 project in South Africa’s Free State Province and recently acquired helium and hydrogen permits in Australia’s Arckaringa Basin.
