Krakatoa Resources had a stellar day on news it's stepping things up at its Zopkhito Project in Georgia, and has kicked off underground core sampling this week as dual-rig drilling pushes toward its first JORC resource.
Greatland Resources was also up after reporting a strong September quarter, producing over 80,000 ounces of gold and boosting cash to $750 million, with full-year guidance unchanged.

Reece had a rough run as the plumbing giant goes ex-dividend, paying 11.9 cents per share later this month.
And St Barbara also plunged today after the gold miner announced an oversubscribed $58 million institutional placement to fund fleet upgrades for its Simberi project, and other expansion studies and projects.
