American Uranium secures US OTC listing to broaden investor access

American Uranium Ltd (ASX:AMU, OTC:GTRIF) has begun cross-trading in North America, with its shares now quoted on the United States over-the-counter (OTC) market under the symbol AMUIF, expanding access for United States investors to the company’s Lo Herma in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium project.

The OTCID® Venture Market provides transparent trading for entrepreneurial and development-stage United States and international companies. Eligibility requires high financial and securities reporting standards, a bid test, and annual verification. As a verified market, OTCID is intended to support liquidity, valuation and awareness among United States investors, which AMU expects will broaden its reach in North America.

“We are pleased to advise that AMU shares are now traded on OTC ID under the ticker code AMUIF," AMU CEO and executive director Bruce Lane said.

"The OTC listing is an important part of our strategy to promote AMU to investors in the US, the home of our uranium projects. OTC cross-trading provides access to the large North American investment community and enhanced convenience for these investors to trade AMU shares. AMU’s strategy is fundamentally North American-focused, and our aim is to develop US-based uranium resources for the resurgent US nuclear sector with a focus on our advanced Lo Herma project.”

AMU remains listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: AMU).

The company’s ASX reporting satisfies OTCID market standards. North American trades settle in the United States time zone in US dollars, and the OTCID security represents the same class of ordinary share as on the ASX.
