Ford Q3 sales climb on EV, truck demand

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) on Wednesday reported third quarter 2025 total vehicle sales of 545,522, up 8.2% from the same period last year.

The automaker noted it was the seventh consecutive month of sales gains.

Ford electric vehicle (EV) sales improved 30.2% year over year to reach a record 30,612 in the quarter, as buyers bought the electric Mustang Mach-E SUVs and F-150 Lightning pickups before the federal EV tax credit expires this week.

Q3 sales of pickup trucks and vans rose 7.4% to 313,654 units sold, led by a 13% year to date gain in F-Series truck purchases.

An area of weakness for the company was sales of the midsize Bronco Sport and Escape, which fell by more than 10% each.

Ford Motor shares gained nearly 2% to $12.16 on Wednesday.
