Canagold Resources reveals high grade antimony-gold results from concentrate testing at New Polaris project in BC

Canagold Resources Ltd (TSX:CCM, OTCQB:CRCUF) announced what it called “positive” results from antimony (Sb) flotation testing at its 100% owned New Polaris gold-antimony project in British Columbia.

The advanced projects development company said the antimony-gold concentrate assayed 59.1% Sb and 98.3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, while 93.1% Sb was recovered in the antimony-gold concentrate and overall, 91.8% gold was recovered in the combined gold and antimony-gold concentrates.

"The Feasibility Study completed in July 2025 has already demonstrated exceptional economics, with low Capex and low AISC (all-in sustaining costs) for the New Polaris Gold-Antimony Project," Canagold Resources CEO Catalin Kilofliski said in a statement.

"These new results highlight the project's ability to produce a very high-grade gold-antimony concentrate, which has the potential to create significant additional value on top of the already outstanding economics."

Kilofliski noted that although antimony mining was included in the Feasibility Study, no revenue from antimony has been accounted for at this stage.

Canagold stated that a total of 5,630 tonnes of antimony grading 0.6% is included in its Indicated resource estimate dated April 2, 2025, while a total of 5,173 tonnes antimony is included in the Feasibility Study mine plans.

Flotation testing utilized a 110-kilogram composite sample derived from 47 diamond drill core samples across 17 drill holes in the high-grade antimony zone, according to the company.

Canagold added that it will continue further metallurgical test work and economic assessments to evaluate the potential for including antimony revenue in the project's financial model.
