Insig AI shares jump as it hires digital asset expert

Insig AI PLC (AIM:INSG) shares soared in Wednesday's early trade, after it hired a new digital asset adviser.

It has hired Lawrence Lundy-Bryan to the role, which is expected to support the company's strategic exploration of launching a fund focused on digital assets and related investments.

Lundy-Bryan brings deep experience in crypto and emerging technologies, the company noted. He was involved with Intel’s blockchain strategy in 2015 and helped establish Outlier Ventures, Europe’s first dedicated crypto fund. He also held advisory roles with the UK Cryptoasset Taskforce and the World Economic Forum.

"I'm excited to now be working with Richard, Peter and the team at Insig AI in assessing the viability of what I hope will become London's leading listed digital asset vehicle," Lundy-Bryan said.

"The scale of the opportunity is enormous."

Richard Bernstein, Insig AI chief executive, meanwhile, commented: "We're delighted to have secured someone of Lawrence's experience, knowledge and network as we progress our strategy to target assets and opportunities with proven utility and overlooked fundamentals beyond the so-called headline of crypto assets."

In London, Insig AI shares climbed 18% changing hands at 27.15p.
