Topps Tiles PLC (LSE:TPT) shares rose 9.5% after the retailer said it expected to report record annual sales and improved second-half performance across all parts of the business.
Adjusted group sales rose roughly 6.8% year-on-year to approximately £265 million in the 52 weeks to 27 September 2025.
Including CTD, the ceramic tile retail and distribution business acquired in 2023, total sales reached around £296 million, up 17.7%.
Like-for-like sales accelerated to 7.7% growth in the second half, up from 3.0% in the first.
Adjusted gross margins are expected to be higher in the second half, and full-year adjusted profit is anticipated to be within market expectations.
The company said it ended the year in a net cash position and highlighted strategic progress, including digital improvements and growth in business-to-business sales.
It also confirmed the appointment of a new CEO designate, Alex Jensen, last month, who will take over at the of the year.
The group said its "improving trading momentum, strategic progress and strong balance sheet leave it well positioned to continue to grow sales and profit into 2026".
