Gunsynd PLC (LSE:GUN) shares surged 16% after the AIM-listed investment company updated the market on progress at its Barb Gold and Bear Twit projects in Canada.
At Barb Gold, fieldwork led by Critical Discoveries has been under way for 12 days, with a further nine days expected.
Sampling has focused on historic veins within the claims, alongside efforts to identify possible extensions and parallel structures.
At Bear Twit, assay results from the recently completed programme have been submitted to the laboratory, with findings expected in October. Gunsynd holds 100% ownership of both projects.
The company said the work marks steady progress across its Canadian portfolio, with investors now awaiting the assay data to determine the scale of mineralisation at Bear Twit.
The shares rose 0.024p to 0.17p.
