Risers

Black Sea Property Fund (LON:BKSA) up 438%. The company released a statement saying it was not aware for the reason behind the price hike.

Trap Oil (LON:TRAP) up 91%. No news today but the company did release news earlier in the week that stated operations have started on the Nioble exploration prospect.

Best of the Best (LON:BOTB) up 20%. Despite getting the wrong dividend date, investors were still enjoying the news that the company’s turnover for the year to 30 April was £8.8mln, up from £7mln a year earlier, while pre-tax profits grew to a better than expected £810,000 from £450,000.

Fallers

Kimberly Enterprises NV (LON:KBE) down 42%. Shares jumped this morning and are back down again this afternoon. Looks like a pump and dump.

Emerging Metals Minerals (LON:EMI) down 27%. The AIM listed uranium, thorium, base and precious metals and gemstones exploration and development company operating in Madagascar, has announced that William Redford has resigned as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Afren (LON:AFR) down 11%. Shares dropped after the company revealed yesterday it would use another 30-day grace period to delay a £7.7mln interest payment due the day before.

Risers

Sainsbury’s (LON:SBRY) up 2.5%. Yesterday, the company announced sales slipped but not by as much as investors had feared. On the news, Cantor Fitzgerald bumped its rating on the firm up to a ‘buy’ from a ‘hold’.

CRH (LON:CRH) up 2%. Reports suggest the Irish building materials group will take part in the preliminary bidding for South Korean Tongyang Cement & Energy tomorrow.

Royal Bank of Scotland (LON:RBS) up 1.97%. As you may have heard, chancellor George Osborne gave his annual Mansion House speech last night and said the time was right for the government to start selling-off some of its 79% stake in RBS.

Fallers

Vodafone (LON:VOD) down 3.3%. The telecoms giant is trading ex-dividend today.

Cineworld (LON:CINE) down 3.1%. The cinema-chain was also trading ex-dividend.

Standard Chartered (LON:STAN) down 1.9%. The bank gave up some of yesterday’s gains after hopes were Osborne would use last night to overhaul the UK’s bank levy were not realised.

Triad Group (LON:TRD)up 31%. The company released end of year results, for the year ended 31 March 2015, which showed revenue rose to £23.5mln from £19.7mln and profit more than tripled to £0.46mln from £0.13mln.

Avesco (LON:AVS) up 25%. The company swung to a profit in the first half of the year and said the outlook in the second half is just as encouraging. Results are now expected to exceed forecasts.

Nektan (LON:NKT) up 8.26%. The developer of mobile gaming apps for companies including the Sun newspaper, has received a software and gaming licence for the UK.

Fallers

Redhall Group (LON:RHL) down 10.4% . Revenue in the first half of the year dropped to £41.4mln from £50.6mln due to delays in manufacturing.

Sareum Holdings (LON:SAR) down 6.9%. More than 577mln shares from its most recent placing were admitted onto the market today.

Royal Mail (LON:RMG) down 3.5%. The government's department for business, innovation & skills said it has completed the disposal of a 15% tranche of its holding in Royal Mail via a share placing at 500 pence a share.
