West Wits Mining (ASX:WWI)
West Wits Mining has signed a loan deal worth 12.5 million US dollars with Nebari Natural Resources to advance its Qala Shallows Gold Project in South Africa. The funding, which can increase to 35 million over the next two years, will be used for mine development and to fast-track the project towards first gold production.
Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE)
Aurum Resources is reporting more high-grade gold from its Boundiali Project in Côte d’Ivoire. Recent drilling returned standout results, including one metre at 152 grams per tonne gold, plus several other thick, high-grade intercepts. The company is drilling at the BMT3 and BDT2 deposits to upgrade its resource and says both areas remain open along strike and at depth.
Janus Electric (ASX:JNS)
Janus Electric has signed a share placement and a five-year distribution and licence agreement with Singapore-based EVUNI. The deal brings in a 3 and a half million dollar first tranche, with another one and a half million due next year. It sets minimum orders of 100 units, rising to 250 a year from 2026, with first converted trucks due early next year as Janus continues to expand into sub-Saharan heavy transport.
Elixir Energy (ASX:EXR)
Elixir Energy has begun drilling its Diona-1 exploration well in Queensland’s Surat-Bowen Basin. The well, operated by partner Xstate Resources, has reached 549 metres as casing and cementing of the top hole gets underway. While outside Elixir’s core Taroom Trough focus, the drilling meets permit commitments and could open up future production options.
