HIVE Digital Technologies (TSX-V:HIVE, NASDAQ:HIVE) CEO Aydin Kilic talked with Proactive about the company surpassing 20 Exahash in Bitcoin mining capacity, a major milestone in its expansion strategy.
Kilic shared that HIVE is now generating over $1 million in daily revenue from its Bitcoin mining operations and is targeting 25 Exahash by American Thanksgiving.
Kilic highlighted the progress made at the company’s Paraguay facilities, noting that Phase 1 and Phase 2 in Yguazú are complete, while Phase 3 in Valenzuela is now operational.
"We hit that big two—over 20 Exahash, baby. We're ahead of schedule," he said.
On the AI front, Kilic discussed HIVE’s AI-focused subsidiary Buzz HPC, which is currently operating 5,000 GPUs between Montreal and Sweden, generating $20 million in annualized run rate revenue.
He also announced a new strategic partnership with Bell, Canada's largest telecom operator, to support AI data centre infrastructure.
The company recently closed an acquisition of a 7.2MW data centre in Toronto, which will house future Nvidia Blackwell GPU deployments.
Kilic reaffirmed HIVE's commitment to green energy, emphasizing the company’s exclusive use of hydroelectric power across all operations, including sites in Paraguay, Sweden, and Canada.
