Frontier IP Group PLC (LSE:FIPP) said Thursday that Matthew White, its chief commercialisation officer, will leave next year to take up the chief executive role at a Cambridge-based medical devices start-up.
White, who has been with the intellectual property commercialisation specialist for seven years, will remain in post until the end of his six-month notice period on March 24. Frontier IP said it is in discussions about a successor and will provide an update in due course.
Chief executive Neil Crabb praised White’s contribution, describing his departure as “wholly amicable” and highlighting his role in advancing the company’s portfolio businesses.
White said it had been a “privilege” to help build the group’s pipeline and that he looked forward to Frontier IP’s continued success, particularly in Cambridge’s growing deeptech ecosystem.
Frontier IP works with universities and research institutions to turn their intellectual property into commercial ventures.
