Resolution Minerals US CEO Craig Lindsey talked with Proactive about the company’s decision to double the scope of its current drill program at the Horse Heaven Project in Idaho. Originally set to drill 8,000 feet across 8 to 10 holes, the company has secured approval to extend its season through October, allowing for up to 20,000 feet of total drilling.
Lindsey explained, “The core that's been coming out of the ground is looking highly prospective for mineralization. It's looking very similar to the type of mineralization that Perpetua Resources sees at the Stibnite mine next door.” He highlighted that this increased drilling is designed to strengthen the resource estimate targeted for release next year.
In addition to drilling, Resolution Minerals is expanding its land position in the Yellow Pine mining district, acquiring an additional 600 acres to bring the total project area to 59 square kilometers. Lindsey said the area is highly prospective for gold, antimony, and tungsten, with growing industry interest.
Looking ahead, investors can expect drill results from 20 holes starting in around four weeks, alongside stream sediment results and metallurgical testing updates.
