Lithium Americas is in negotiations with the US Energy Department and General Motors (GM) over the terms of its US$2.26 billion government loan for a lithium mining project in Nevada.

The Saguenay-based company said the financing was completed in four stages, with the last bringing in $115,000 through the sale of 230,000 flow-through shares. In total, the raise included $6.65 million from flow-through shares, which give tax breaks to investors funding exploration, and $4.89 million from standard units priced at market.

The multinational digital infrastructure company said the milestone follows the rollout of high-performance ASIC mining hardware at its new Phase 3 facility in Valenzuela, Paraguay. This is a 100 megawatt (MW) green energy site powered by hydroelectricity from the Itaipu Dam.
T Stamp Inc (NASDAQ:IDAI, EURONEXT:AIID), doing business as Trust Stamp, saw its shares climb more than 42% to $4.27 in early trading on Wednesday after the company announced the publication of a Partnership Brief by Intel Corporation focused on its “Protect” artificial intelligence (AI)-powered identity platform.
Trust Stamp said the platform utilizes quantized AI-models optimized using Intel’s OpenVino, reducing model size and latency and allowing deployment on resource-constrained environments.

Stonegate analysts wrote that with the closing of its $8 million debenture financing, Medicus has cash of $9.7 million as of the second quarter of 2025, which extends the company’s runway into 2026.

Oracle Corp (NYSE:ORCL, ETR:ORC) shares opened 2.5% lower on Wednesday following reports that the company is preparing to raise as much as $15 billion in a corporate bond sale.
The debt offering, which Bloomberg said could be split into as many as seven tranches, comes as Oracle accelerates spending on cloud infrastructure to support booming demand from artificial intelligence providers such as OpenAI.
