Valereum cheers progress and looks forward to more growth as digital assets platform continues to grow

Valereum PLC (AQSE:VLRM) chief executive Gary Cottle on Wednesday cheered the "meaningful progress" made in the first half of 2025, as the digital assets firm reported interim results.

"We have moved from launching services into a phase of commercial activation, all whilst pushing ahead with our strategy to build a leading, trusted, regulated digital assets ecosystem," Cottle said.

"The pipeline is beginning to generate revenue, and we look forward to swiftly scaling those revenues up."

Profit before tax was £0.3 million, down from £0.4 million in the same period of 2024, and basic earnings per share fell to 0.16 pence from 0.42 pence. Total assets rose to £10.2 million from £5.2 million, and net assets increased to £4.3 million from £1.4 million.

Looking ahead, Valereum told investors it is pleased with the strategic progress and, following the launch of VLRM Markets, it is advancing a pipeline of opportunities into revenues, whilst further expanding with new partnerships.

"We have also paved the way to accelerate the development of a leading trusted, regulated digital asset ecosystem through selectively investing in perceived category leaders across key segments of the digital asset value chain," it added.
