Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF) told investors that it has signed its first Guardian Generation 3 contract through Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America (MEAA).
The agreement is with Savannah Transport, a family-owned fleet operator in the United States, and was completed faster than its typical sales cycle, boosted by the Mitsubishi referral.
"We are delighted to see our first deal signed," said chief executive Paul McGlone.
"There are many more opportunities in our joint pipeline, and our sales teams are working closely to ensure that we get trials going quickly to showcase our leading technology and ultimately get more customers."
The partnership with Mitsubishi Electric began in June, with the Japanese group helping expand Seeing Machines’ sales pipeline across the Americas.
McGlone added: "Leveraging the extensive relationships that MEAA has across the Americas is a great initiative for us, opening more doors in this huge and competitive market. I am also looking forward to seeing similar results across Europe as our teams are now closely engaged there."
