Tom Brady partners with AI massage maker Aescape for ‘longevity protocols’

NFL football legend Tom Brady has agreed to partner with artificial intelligence-powered massage device maker Aescape to provide the company with exclusive rights to his recovery and longevity protocols, Aescape announced on Tuesday.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Brady will become Aescape’s chief innovation officer.

"We're adapting Tom's longevity-focused protocols to the Aescape system and building on them in ways that can only be done through robotics and AI," Aescape CEO Eric Litman said in a statement.

"Our technology and significant distribution in the world's leading hospitality, athletic, and wellness brands will translate elite-level recovery into an ongoing self-care practice that's accessible to all."

Brady’s business partner Alex Spiro will also become a strategic advisor for Aescape and they will support both product development and the company’s growth into capital markets, Aescape stated.

Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion and played in the NFL until age 45.

Founded in 2017, Aescape has more than 100 locations and has provided more than 25,000 massages using its automated robots.

The company’s partners include fitness company Equinox and select Four Seasons, Marriott, and Ritz-Carlton hotel properties throughout North America.

Aescape is backed by $130 million in funding from investors such as Valor Equity Partners and BroadLight Capital.
