Millennial Potash appoints agricultural sector veteran Tony Kettinger to its board

Millennial Potash Corp (TSX-V:MLP, OTCQB:MLPNF) announced that it has appointed Tony Kettinger to its Board of Directors.

The potash project developer said Kettinger has had an extensive career in the agricultural sector and is currently chief operating officer for Golden Agri-Resources, based in Singapore.

"Tony has had a long career in the agricultural sector mainly focussed on Southeast Asia and China and brings a wealth of knowledge on the expanding palm oil business, a significant demand sector for potash products," Millennial Potash chairperson Farhad Abasov said in a statement.

"The addition of Mr Kettinger continues our efforts to form a strong potash-and agricultural focused Board and we are looking forward to Tony's contributions as we transition from exploration to development at our Banio Potash Project in Gabon."

The company noted that Kettinger replaces Graham Harris, who has resigned all corporate director and officer positions with Millennial Potash effective today's date.

As well, Harris and Millennial Potash have entered into an agreement effective today's date whereby Harris, for a term of four years, will provide consulting services on an as needed and on call basis for the sum of C$1,000 per month.

The company added that is granting Kettinger a total of 1,553,000 incentive stock options, exercisable for a period of five years, at an exercise price of $2.88 per share.
