The S&P/ASX 200 pushed higher today, adding 39.0 points or 0.44% to close at 8,849.9, moving back above its 50-day moving average. Gains were led by Lynas Rare Earths and Telix Pharmaceuticals, which jumped 8.11% and 7.97% respectively. Despite today’s rise, the index is down 0.31% over the past five sessions and remains 2.26% below its 52-week high.
The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries also advanced, climbing 23.5 points or 0.64% to 3,703.5. Over the past five days, the small-cap index has gained 41.7 points, or 1.14%.
