UPDATE: ServicePower partners with Qton Solutions

Service engineer scheduling specialist ServicePower Technologies (LON:SVR) has teamed up with cloud-based peer, Qton Solutions.

Qton, a metering specialist, has a cloud-based platform that allows companies to keep track of schedules and dispatches.

It also allows workers to access the schedule, through the cloud, on-site.

ServiceScheduling, ServicePower’s algorithm-based product, will be added to the system to sort orders into a logical schedule, making operations more efficient and cut down costs.

Adam Bowen, Head of Operations, Qton Solutions, said: “ServiceScheduling integrated to our platform, enables Qton to bring higher levels of efficiency and productivity to the industry.”

Marne Martin, CEO, ServicePower said: “This is yet another partnership for ServicePower which broadens its reach 

"The point of this partnership is to target a specific vertical and Qton has a mobile solution that is very well placed in the industrial sector.

Qton will develop the mobile ascpect of the product and ServicePower will provide the scheduling component she said.

“We will achieve growth through integrating our technology with innovative partners whom extend our functional, geographical and execution reach, in addition to generating our own organic sales.”

It is the second deal in less than a month for ServicePower after it announced a partnership with leading Internet of Things service provider Concirrus.

Shares gained 3% to 4.25p today on the news.
