Sprintex (ASX:SIX)
Sprintex has scored a big win in the Netherlands, securing a major upgrade to its first contract with Dutch partner Mest Water. The deal now totals about A$16.6 million – and covers ammonia-reduction systems for Dutch farms. Sprintex will supply upgraded compressors and control cabinets that cut downtime and allow remote monitoring, and the deal is expected to boost revenue per system to €33,000 from €24,000.
Altech Batteries (ASX:ATC)
Altech Batteries has boosted the capacity of its CERENERGY® sodium-chloride solid-state battery packs to 90 kilowatt-hours - a 50% increase on the previous 60-kWh output. The leap comes from a redesigned 72-cell ‘beehive’ module — giving a 50% increase in output without changing the casing or production lines. Altech says the upgrade delivers higher energy and power density, better thermal performance and about a 30% cost reduction at both module and pack level.
American Rare Earths (ASX:ARR)
American Rare Earths has wrapped up test mining at its Cowboy State Mine in Wyoming. Around 3,000 tonnes of ore from the Halleck Creek deposit have been excavated, crushed and stockpiled. Four bulk samples are already on their way for processing tests to refine the company’s flowsheet ahead of a pre-feasibility study.
